Formatting issue in posts

I haven't been able to hunt down any info on this, but I'm very hungry so perhaps I've overlooked something..

When the forums were moved, formatted posts didn't transfer properly. I went in and edited all my posts in my CDTs to fix the tags and such that had popped up. But now, it's happened again to one of them, and I can't think why! For example, all apostrophes have been transformed into , dashes into [SIZE=10][SIZE=16][FONT="]–[/SIZE][/FONT][/SIZE] etc.
As far as I know, it hasn't happened to anyone else's threads this time around.  Only mine seems to be affected. Here to look at it. It was a pain to fix it the first time, I'm loathe to do it again to only have it happen again.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I've been working hard on many conversion issues, problems with Microsoft Word pasting here.  I don't know how your posts reverted to be honest, but I've been working on fixing the pasting from Word issues and that might be the cause of it.  I have mentioned a few times I will be running a script to cleanup all remnant html, but it will not be allowed again.  Just be patient and things will appear normal soon.

That's great to hear, thanks for replying. And good luck with the script!

Great to see the tags and such all clean up now! :) My thanks!

I'll just use this thread since this new issue I've found has to do with formatting, sort of.

Characters within [square brackets] are not counted when determining character count. I found this out when writing an all-description post in my CDT, since I use the square brackets for those. This means I wasn't allowed to post due to lack of characters. I circumvented it though by make a white invisible bracket to close off the first. A friend just thought it was worth reporting anyways, so here I am!

They are counted when determining maximum size which is the more important thing.  I'm sure you folks can find 10 characters to put in non bb code before or after in the meantime
