Hey!  Dwarves will always provide for their families, are good savers, and always come home on time... Unless they have been hitting the Sledge Draft.

Dwarves cannot breed with any other non-dwarven races.

I've seen half-dwarves in game... Either mechanically as humans or as dwarves, but they were RPed as half-dwarves.

Now, I can't recall the names, but I'm certain I've seen them.

What part of that was not clear?
If people are RPing half-dwarves in-game, I'm really doubtful that was approved...and if it was approved, then it should not have been.

Yeah.  The dwarven genome is too tough for the unstocky blood humanoids.  Ruptures the entire cell-wall during mitosis.

Now there can be interrcial marraiges and humans raised by dwarves, but never will you see a half-dwarf.  It's unprecidented in all fantasy settings.

The only "Half-Dwarf" I know of was a Half-Elf, Half-Dwarf Paladin of Vorax from Beta Four. I can't remember her name but she was a good friend of Llu's and we pretty much "grew up" together on Layonara.

Elves explode when they see naked dwarves, it's in the bible.

Well there are Duergar and maybe Azers, but those fall into the "dwarf-ish" category.

Yep...Duergar are dwarves, though any true Dwarf would never admit as much, nor even consider such a pairing. Still, breeding would be possible....hence my choice of words above.
Azers are dwarves from the Elemental Plane of Fire, so while it may be possible for them to cross-breed with dwarves from the Prime, it may be tricky for said Prime to survive the um...encounter.

Har. Takes more than a wee bit of scorching heat to kill a dwarf.

I didn't say "impossible"....only "tricky".
But before anyone gets any funny ideas.... No, we will not be approving any half-Azer dwarven characters....so don't ask. :p

i like how we can get half demons and half dragons and such but when it comes to dwarves suddenly its like "ZOMG!!! crossbreed with dwarf?!?!?! NEVER!!!!" lol

on the other hand i could easily see a gnome and a dwarf mixign it up, they are somewhat similar

Well...there aren't any PC half-fiends or half-dragons on this server either. At best, a tiefling or aasimar can only have, at most 1/8th planar blood. Given the rareity of dragons, no one can claim half, quarter, eighth or any fraction of draconic blood at character creation. Besides that, fiends, demons, celestials and dragons are supernatural creatures, and so what they can and cannot breed with follows some different rules.
As was stated before, there's absolutely no precedent in any fantasy setting for dwarves breeding with other, non-dwarven races.
  D&D 3rd Edition doesn't support it.
  NWN doesn't support it.
Layonara doesn't support it, and we would have to go through a lot of pains to create a subrace type to support it (which isn't going to happen)...not to mention that subrace submissions are currently closed.
  Also not allowed/supported/permitted:
Half-Halflings Half-Lizardfolk Half-Gnomes Half-Illithid Half-Brownie Half- (keeping in mind the last three are currently closed anyway)
I hope that clears things up.
