Assassin as a PrC

I have just a simple question...Are Assassin levels allowed, I'm sure they would a CDQ to obtain. Seeing as my 10th level rogue, Tomi Shadowfoot, is right along those lines. But if they are a banned class then I won't drool over it anymore. ;-P

One of the requirements fr the Assasin Prc is alignment: any evil.

Therefore, there have been no assasins yet.  I dont think its disallowed, just very unlikely.

Well to be an assassin you have to be evil and you can only be LE or NE on Layo and it takes a long time and many CDQs and various other activities as well as approval from Leanthar. So you'd have to become evil first and then get approved as an assassin. All in all, not a likely occurance, but one that might work with a lot of effort.

Trust me it's hard.  I'm playing a Drow Rogue who is a Rogue, but later I am planning on taking Assassin levels.  It will take many MANY CDQ's and real life months to RP your character to evil.  Could be even longer than that depending on your current Alignment.  As far as I know, there has only been one, ONE evil PC in all of Layonara.  It's going to be a tough road but it can be achieved.  And certainly not at level 10.  You would also need a very in depth and lengthy Character Development Thread that tells of the character's development and how the character feels about doing evil things.

no, Rufus Coldfinger I beleive is and so is Ozy I think accually.  Lia Di'makiir used to be evil as well

Well I really love the effort that one needs to put in and the rules surrounding the attempt at becoming evil.  Many have complained, but once achieved it's that much more satisfying - there's no doubt the character will be deeply developed by then and the person will truly understand how to play their alignment.
