elvish children question
« on: February 24, 2007, 12:39:44 pm »
A question...
I am raising three elvish children in game (1/2 drow, 1/2 elf...). They are about 11 or 12 years old. Could someone tell me how advanced they are in developement, such as speach, motor skills etc. I don't want to say they are doing stuff that they shouldn't be or are incapable of in game.  Thanks.

Half-Elves come to maturity at around 20 years of age, take that into consideration.

Well their 1/2 drow and 1/2 elf so I guess that makes them 100% elf...

Treat them as a year or two younger than they really are.

Edit: They're full-elf? Wow. I... Totally missed that post.

Elves physically and mentally mature at a much younger pace. They are not considered mature until about age 110 -120.  Therefore your elven children would still be very young and continue to be so for quite some time. It would take about 6.5 to 7.5 REAL LIFE years for elvish children to grow up in game time.  One real life year to about 16 ingame ones.   No one has documented the complete phyiscal development of the elf in game but given the present rough 6:1 ratio, they'd be as physically and mentally toddlers.

So whenever an elf chides a human for being mentally deficient, the human can always retort that at least pottytraining didn't take them 30 years. ;)
