Dumb mechanics question...

For "large" races, I know they can wield two-handed melee weapons in one hand.  However, due to the size category, does the NWN engine allow them to wield a "medium" weapon in the off-hand and consider it a "light" weapon for 2-weapon penalty purposes?

I think so... My half giant was swinging a Great Sword and a bastard or Longsword just for kicks.

Maybe someone with a current half giant can answer that for sure.

I am not sure, I have never checked the negatives when holding two weapons. I can tell you that I am not able to wield two greatswords at one time =P.

I checked in-game (finally got around to it), and yes, a medium weapon is considered "light" for a large race.

Too bad there is no weapon large enough in NWN to be considered large for a large race.

I'd love to see Zug swinging some double greataxe... just for the visuals.
