All of my characters know OF eachother, but they generally despise eachother and refuse to do any business with eachother. Sure they have some of the same friends, but should they mention the name of any of my other characters, they will go into tirades over their hatred of them. Bjorn thinks everybody's a lazy good fer nothin, cept Rakish who does actually craft, but is still a drow. Farros and Rakish came down to fisticuffs in a card game when Farros was overtly cheating, and they both see Bjorn as a rude, repulsive blob of dwarven idiocy. As for Zeke, Lonn and Brilligimble, I rarely ever play them, so they're off on their personal quests, too busy to even meet eachother.
What you will never see is Lonn wearing a Rakish leather, Farros wearing Bjorn's platinum, Farros' beer in Bjorn's backpack, Lonn's bow in Zeke's hands... etc. That kind of petty muling's beneath me, all of my accounts and storage are entirely divided.
No matter how you slice it, muling items back and forth is just plain wrong, and makes the economy buckle.
Far better just to donate ALL your surplus and make sure your god sleeps easy on a uge pile of celestial gold.
