Missing elf ear...

Hiya, am half-elf and don't have an elf ear, what's weird is that I understand it perfectly lol

This has always been the case, half elves can understand it but not speak it.  Don't know if this is as intended or an oversight.

weird, well any chance I can get one here...mum taught me to talk, read and speak elven, just understanding it seems kind of wrong to me *shrugs* ?

to my understanding it was decided that half elves get the ear by request as since halfelves are normaly raised in either one society or the other (not both) not all half elves can speak elvish so not all should have access to the ear

if your bio states that you were raised by an elf then it shouldn't be to hard to convince a DM to let you have an ear
