I haven't really seen much, or been bothered to keep an eye out for it. It only matters to me if...

    a) It's backward compatable with the current version.
    b) It supports multiplayer on the scale of this version.
    c) It's customizable to the point where we can make a transition from Layonara to 'Layonara, NwN2 edition'

If those things aren't happening (especially conversion of NwN files, haks, etc. to NwN2) I can't see Layonara being rebuilt with NwN2. I'll care when it becomes a reality and I know how, or if, it will impact me here.

I'm probably not going to buy it unless layonara gets transferred at some point, which obviously leaves me no choice ;)

I'll probably buy it whether Layonara get's transferred or not (which it will I'm confident). If not because it's going to be a great game, probably because it'll be the first game I've bought since HotU a couple years ago... (yeah that's right)

    must say,
I'd only get it if Layo goes to it...  I never REALLY played NWN, except on here... too easy to level. (HA!)

And yet again, I'm suspicious that Orth is getting some guilty glee out of some secret knowledge!

If Layo will be adapted to Nwn2, i'll play it, if not, i'll still play it, but for a far shorter time. :)

Don't worry Vyris.  Orth just got into Doc's goofballs.  It's the maniacal, "I'm going to take over the world!" laugh that you need to be worried about.

*wipes forehead*  whew, I'm glad somebody's got this 'world' business taken care of.  I was afraid I'd have to do something about it, otherwise Doc might beat me to it.  Speaking of... has anyone seen Doc since...  oh crap... DOC!!!  Get out of there before you....   EEYYAAHHH !!!

I'm going to buy it the second it comes out. Then I'm going to help convert Layonara to it. It's going to take a lot more than the current content team can do to keep Layo going and largely redo everything. Orth may be omniscient, but even he's not omnipotent. Is he?

Multi-modal editor, here I come. Look out Wolfswood, here comes fractal based foliage. Rolling Hills, with (almost) real multiheight terrain (ok, still no Z axis). Scripts that take variables -- woot woot. I think I'll use the tools more than I play the game. * pauses, thinks a bit * Well, at least as much as I play the game.
