Liberation of Stone
«
on:
January 08, 2006, 11:35:00 AM »
*Inscribed in Common on a fine parchment in Ael’s customary script - calligraphy that is flowing and graceful, yet austere:*
Sunra, the Eighth Day of Janra, the Year 13_ _, of This the Third Generation of Layonara
To those who attended today’s meeting at Hlint Courthouse, regarding our plans to retake Stone, please attach notes here advising us what you are gathering or preparing to support our efforts. As well, please leave notes here if you need assistance with any of your work.
All of you know how to contact me - please send word to me if, at the meeting, I was not able to obtain how to contact you.
We need three people who will serve as warehouse custodians along with me. Custodians’ responsibilities will be to gather the supplies, weapons, and armor, and to take them to our storage areas. As we will also keep an inventory of our supplies, custodians will need to send me lists of what they have gathered, noting the location to which they took the items. Please contact me if you are interested in this duty.
Everyone who wishes to oppose Blood and his lackeys are most welcome to join our efforts. To those who are already working on this, I ask you to bring your friends into our fellowship. Also, I welcome questions from anyone - send word to me or speak with me at your convenience.
Here as well, we shall post notice of upcoming gatherings.
Again, I urge everyone to keep their eyes open to the happenings around them, especially if you travel through Rilara. If you see or hear anything of note, then at your discretion, either share your information here, or send word to me.
Finally, I urge everyone of faith who is assisting this cause to redouble their efforts to pray to and honor their deity. Through unity upon our realm, and through unity in the heavens, we will prevail.

*Sahala watches Ael write the note from her perch under the covers of their bed, then half-smiles as he kisses her forehead before he leaves to post the note in Hlint*
"Oh dear Beryl," she whispers, "I will never forget your kindness, the kindness of your people. You will be avenged. We will gather your devout." She clenches her fists, squeezing the sheets in her hands. "We will raise the perfection of the gems you have gifted us with, that you might focus your strength once more through them." Sahala closes her eyes and lays back. "You will not be forgotten."

I have a house on Dregar where we could store most of the supplies. It is almost completly empty except for some areas I have rented out to friends. Just let me know who the cutodian of the supplies will be and I will give them keys to my house.

whens the next meeting? We should discuss what has been gathered, and by whom. And what is the next step in our process of reclaiming Stone?

I was there this morning, and there's nothing left to reclaim, just bare rock. Beryl's temple is now dug into the exterior of Sunspear Castle, and is in business for pilgrims.

Not entirely true. If you climb up the stairs you will receive a message of what you see. We put that area in place so that the rest of the maps were not closed off. But rest assured, Stone is still in the module.

*A note posted in Ael’s customary script*
For those of you who attended the recent meeting on Stone we held in the Hlint Courthouse, please post notes below listing which preparations group you are in, or send me this information directly. Also, please list what supplies/resources you are needing, so the gathering group can begin its work. If you are in the group of gatherers, which I am coordinating, you need not post a note.
I will consolidate all of these posts into an organized chart which I will post separately here, and which I will periodically update.
When you have items ready to go to one of the storage depots, please post here, or send me a message, as indicated below, and we will arrange to have someone obtain them from you.
For all others interested who were unable to attend our meeting, this is a coordinated effort preparing supplies for the forces who will liberate Stone. All assistance is welcome. If this work interests you, contact me by falcon courier or leave a message addressed to me at 228 Haft Lake in Pranzis.
The tide had turned against Blood; your efforts will guarantee his ultimate destruction.

Sen Stranzini has posted a neatly but stiffly written note
"As we agreed in the meeting, Mr. Barion and I are working on making 1400 arrows with oak shafts and iron heads.
The shafts are all done (Mr Barion provided all the oak needed) and we are working on the heads - Axe has said that he will be able to supply all the iron we need.
I think we have enough molds, Mr Michael Mordecai and Barion each provided a large number. If we need a few more, we can take care of that ourselves.
We have enough feathers, some stirge and some raven. (Axe gave us the raven feathers, thanks again to Mr Axe)
Since we risk to spoil too many of the arrows in assembling them, Miss Jillseponie has agreed to help me put them together.
So, we are taking responsibility for 1400 arrows and everthing is coming along, we will have them ready.
In the process of making 70 arrow shafts, a large amount of oak blank scrolls were generated. Since this is from the war effort, I think they should be used for the war effort if they are needed. I can make them into sandpaper if sandpaper will be needed, or turn them over to a scroll scriber if needed. Please advise me what I should do with them. But I do believe they should be used for the battle for Stone and not other purposes.

Sen Stranzini has posted another note:
With lots of help from Miss Jilseponie, Axe, Michael and others, Barion and I have made
400 iron tip, oak shaft, stirge tail arrows
160 iron tip, oak shaft, falcon tail arrows
800 iron tip, oak shaft, raven tail arrows
These arrows are all stored at Mr Axe's house.
Menadir says he also already made 900 and some arrows for the same purpose, so please check with him.
We can discuss tomorrow, perhaps this will be enough?
Signed,
Sen Stranzini

*Upon returning from a voyage with his beloved newly-wed wife, Sahala, Ael posts the following, written in his customary script:*
All who have any items ready for delivery to one of the warehouses, please send word to me, to arrange for myself or another to collect them from you.
