Layo Slogans

So, Jess just gave me a great idea: producing Layonara-themed products, the actual sale of which would have to be spoken about with Leanther and all that legal yadda-yadda. (Suffice it to say that if one *AHEMmeAHEM* were to produce Layo-themed stuff, it would either sell at or below cost, or all of the proceeds would go through that nice-looking button just under Server Status.)

The thing is, what would we put on our stuff? I, for one, would walk around in a shirt that said "Deathward is fer pansies!"

So, a list. Recognizable quotes, nifty stuff, other ideas... Let's hear it.

"Deathward is fer pansies!"

"When in doubt on disrupting a ritual, shoot the mage."

Lost Item: Sleep

"AYE!" "NAY!" "AYE!" "NAY!"

"Time fer a bit of the game."

[CHAT WINDOW TEXT] [Sat Jun 24 23:22:16] Leanthar Spellore: [Shout] THE END!!!

"Just magic me up and point me in the right direction!"

"It takes pure power and manipulation of the Weave, but basically I just make things go BOOM!"

PIE ADDICT

"AND STAY DOWN!!!" (Possibly with an accompanying crit record from the same character. ;) )

"Layonara: More than just a game."

---

Custom shirts would, time permitting, be available, either through whatever official channels might eventually be set up, or just when I get the time. ;)

As I stated lower down the page, when I can get my hands on the CNR to make these shirts, I'll be tossing together a few working prototypes to send off to L.

My main drive on this is that, unlike the previously-offered Layonara merchandise, this stuff fits in with popular demand and current trends. The old merch was cool, don't get me wrong, but I'd rather wear "Deathward is fer pansies!" than a picture of the Late, Great Sinthar Bloodstone. In addition, it's more on-demand... So there you have it. Commerce and such.

I'd wear a black shirt that just said "Layonara" in white letters on the front in a large-ish fashion across the chest in some stylized letters.

Maybe the black and white logo with the sword under it if it just said Layonara.

I'd rather have a shirt that just said Layonara than Layonara Online... not sure why... less nerdy? (who am I kidding right?)

"Time fer a bit of the game." is my favorite but "Meat Shield"  is a close second

(Adding to first post as we go along.)

Niftycool... I especially like Ed's. :)

Sorry about forgetting Sal's! Oi, can't believe I forgot that one.

As to pwning n00bs? While we do that enough (fr4g g0bl1nZ!!!), it's not layo-specific. ... Though, that said, I think I'll make a shirt that says "fr4g g0bl1nZ!!!" for myself. ;)

Anyone know where to get that iron-on stuff?

Hmm guess I can answer that.. ;) I've had to do enough things like that for my kids. You can get the letters at pretty much any craft store. Also Walmart, Target etc. usually have them.

I like the idea of using pie, or perhaps the custom food icons in a collage... But for now, let's keep ideas simple.

Also, as these will effectively be another branch of advertising for Layo (though not "official", let's call it word-of-mouth), I think it would be better to keep the quotes and such free of l337, netspeak, etc. However...

PIE ADDICT might be good. ;)

I'm looking more for the printable pages.... If those exist. My brain seems to think they do. Same places? I'll find out next I go to Michael's, but... *Shrugs*
