oh wow, I now know the direct latitude, longitude and elevation of my parking space, heheh.

Combine this with the Star Wars project, makes me even more paranoid of my govt than I already was!

    WOW. Very cool.
      Now if they upgrade it to show more grids of amsterdam like they have for a lot of US cities then I can see my parking spot too :)
      For those of you who are wondering, go to amsterdam, then westwards toward this lake called 'Sloterplas' and then close to its eastern shore.

    Sloterplas?  I hope that means something nicer in dutch than it sounds like it does in english. :) just kidding

    Edit: Apparently the world is ruled by microsoft (wow, that sounds like such an obvious statement)  Google earth only works in windows. :(

    Hmm.. can almost see my place in that, hehe... Though doesn't zoom as close as with some bigger cities.

    Got it, tried it, think it's amazing, showing my kids places I lived in Europe and Australia, funny to see those places again, from above... wierd, but in a cool way.

    Now Go to Rio deJenaro, and tell me you could'nt laser someone from space....

      shame it doesnt show the middle-of-nowhere i live in enough accurate.. heck, wouldnt it be cool if i could see myself cycling to the shop to buy more coke? o.O

        I think I found my car parked at th mall near my home. Every day for like 2 months I was at the mall early in the mornin till closing. I was and still am a mall rat. :)
