    can people poly'ed into things like umber hulk and spiders talk?

    what  things can talk and what cant...

    Umbers and spiders just do not have the vocal chords necessary to be able to speak. Dragons maybe Baalor but both the speech would be quite different sounding. Just use a bit of common sense on this, if it can't speak as an enemy you shouldn't be speaking as polymorphed.

      Ah just askin cause ive noticed afew poly mages talking away likes all normal.. just sort of confused me heh

      I used to make up a language for my characters who morphed into a troll.... anymore I just use emotes and dont bother trying to use troll language.


      *Troll Enzo is stopped on the road by a group of adventrueres*


      *Adventurer A draws his blade*


      *Troll Enzo holds out his hands in a non threatening manor and shows them Enzo's "Red Cap helmet", then pats himself on the chest*


      *Adventurere A screams* GODS!!! you've eaten Enzo!!! Have at you!!!!

      *chuckles* Now this is great. Dor is gesturing around as well, but most times she is polymorphed into pixie, those are cute ...
      As an Umber I usually do some clicking sounds and gestures as well, heh.
