Poison usable on arrows

After making a search in this forum i did not see anything pertaining to this (maybe my search was poorly formated i don't know)

we can coat a sword, axe or staff with poison I was wondering why we wouldnt be able to coat arrows or darts with them. RP wise for a rogue it would make more sence for them to use darts and/or arrows poisoned if they were on the sneak type (thinking of ninjustu use of poison darts to either induce sleep or to the more extrem kill in silence) There is already an extent of use of poison in game as the lizzard man near hlint use poisoned bolts.

Personaly I'd like to see this ability add up for sake of rp but aslo it would have it's use in game, some type of poison to induce sleep, paralysis or other effects, on an anemy would make a fight more manageble (there is already a spell for that so why not other methodes)

on the one hand this sounds good.

on the other I don't know how it would work. poison isn't like enchanting, it lasts a very short time. that may be hard to program on stackable items I don't know. Perhaps if they made it so its applied to the bow instead of the arrows (technical purposes, rp the arrows anyway) it would work, but that leaves out all throwing items.

I dunno though, I'm not a scripty person, best wait for someone who is.

Poison works on arrows:  Just use the poison on the arrows in your inventory slot.

As with all the poisons, they last for a rediculously short amount of time and are best used purely for RP purposes.

Actualy I'm posting cause I tried it IG with the Arena spider poison and I did not see anychanges to my arrows

you didn't see the acid visual that melee weapons get but the poison itself worked.

Right.  Use on arrows then "examine" them.

*nods*  I've successfully used it on arrows several times.  It lasts about as long as alchemists' fire does on a melee weapon.

strange cause as soon as I had coated them i examined them and didnt see any added effect. Will try again when i make a new batch.

Did you successfully coat them?  Bear in mind there's a dex-based chance of failure any time you use poison.
