Trade and Market Hall / Re: Wanted: Woodland Soles

*laughs at the elf before it disapears*

If it is meaningless then why ask for 150,000 trues?

*she turns the other way and walks off*

Sorry, I can't depart more than 100,000 trues for the soles. You can keep them.

Since Keela withdrew her bid for the Woodland Soles, then my bid would be at 100,000 trues. I only bid 110,000 since she bid on it. Please my adjust bid accordingly. Thank you.

*mutters* I hate it when people boost up the price and decide not to get it last minute, causing me to pay more. *groans* there goes my enchanting oils fund. *frowns*

If Keela is removing her bid for the Woodland Soles.. what is the price that it's at? I'm still interested in the soles. Thank you.

Ask A Gamemaster / Re: Did Central just crash?
« on: May 27, 2011, 01:59:37 am »
Kylie and Hayley had fully buffed and were fighting the vampires and undead down in the Ruin of the Broken One. We were looking for clues for Mixafix quest. We were doing fine and all of a sudden we stood still. Then, I got the "server timeout" message. I tried to relog and couldn't. That was around 1:30 am EST. Immediately, I tried to log onto the forum to see what is going on and couldn't log on. I was able to log onto other websites, yahoo and msn, but could not log onto layo. At about 1:35 am EST, that was when layo website was up again. That was when I posted the message for the DM help.

Ask A Gamemaster / Re: spell school immunity question
« on: May 22, 2011, 03:18:38 am »
I do not think so. Basically, when you are immune to School of Illusion, the Weird spell, or any harmful spells that belong to the School of Illusion do not affect you. Kinda like Death Ward is against death spells.

The Dragon Storm Campaign / Re: Fort Hilm
« on: May 19, 2011, 02:09:44 pm »
Leading to the final days of preparation, the Copperstones and Ygraine were seen wandering the nearby outskirts of Hilm Castle. They got into a little jibber jabber with the soldiers while they were watching the road. Without incident, the Copperstones and Ygraine traveled to a nearby village because they heard someone was in need of a favor. Upon arrival, they see people in disarray as they were preparing for the upcoming days. They asked around and came upon old man Dunn.

Old man Dunn used to be a soldier. He praised about his glorious youth while serving with other Toranites. Now in his golden years, he wishes to live in peace with old lady Dunn. With the impending siege on Hilm, they wish to help the Toranites as best as they can before they go hiding in their cave hideout. They talk about their three robust sons who live in the outskirt of Hilm Castle. The three have something to boost the Toranites' morales. Unfortunately, old man Dunn is too old to make the long trip and receive those blessings. They asked the Copperstones and Ygraine a favor to complete the journey and bring those blessings back to Hilm Castle.

Although it was a dangerous trip, the Copperstones and Ygraine agreed. They prepared and made the journey with haste. They stuck to the safe path to avoid flying Drachs and enemy scouts. Luckily for them, the three successful met up with the three robust sons and retrieved the blessings. Upon receiving the last from the eldest Dunn's son, the three made it safely back to Hilm Castle before the gates shut close.

Upon return, the Copperstone handed the blessings to the Toranite soldier and told him about the blessings. They told him to give it to Sir Lance.

"May this help him or any Toranite in the upcoming battle, " Hayley said to the Toranite soldier.

Afterwards, the three left to make preparation.

This has happened to me several times. If you engage that particular group of fire giants right next to the group of earth genasi, the earth genasi will target you. Although the two groups (fire giants and earth genasi) are next to each other, the fire giants are on the top of the hill while the earth genasi are at the bottom of the hill.

The way I interpret that setup is as followed. You are fighting a group of fire giants at the top of the hill. At the bottom of the hill is the group of earth genasi. They see and hear the fighting so they run up to check out what's going on. That's the situation you have described. You engage the fire giants at the top of the hill. You cannot expect the earth genasi not to hear your fighting and run up to check out the situation. As for the purpose/design of the area, I do not know if that was the intent.

As for the auto target of the earth genasi, they will autolock you for a very long time. Even if you leave the area (go to a different transition), they are still there. They do not despawn unless it's an extremely long time where no PC is around that area. I am guessing you engaged the fire giants not knowing the earth genasi were on their way up. Then, you proceeded to enter the crypt and on your way out the group of earth genasi jumped on your group. *wince*
