Trip to the Great Spikes
« on: September 17, 2009, 01:53:04 pm »
*Posted in Hempstead*

I would like to organize a trip to the Great Spikes.  From there I seek to travel through the Dwarven ruins and into the deep below.  My destination is the old outpost past the Slaad Lake.  I am in need of a cloak they use to sell and hopefully still do.  I have a key to the portal room out and will be using it at the conclusion of the trip.  All treasure found along the way will be distributed fairly.  If no priests are able to accompany the trip, I will have tomes on hand.

Anyone interested in such an undertaking please send me word so I may schedule a time that would accomidate the most.  I should stress this was a very danger place last I visited it a couple years ago. And things may of course changed since then.  Anyone that will bring disharmony to a group or endanger others is asked to not accompany.  Violaters that endager the lives of others are subject to being eaten on the spot.

Thank you,

~Aerimor Lightbringer

Aerimor,

I have missed traveling with you. Let me know when you want to make the trip and I will try to be there to help in anyway I can.

I would love to accompany you. It's been a while since I have been there as well, but I'd be interested in going back. And I sincerely hope my presence will not bring disharmony.

An old man reads the letter, and a spark of his old adventuring spirit flares up.

If you will have me, The Striker will be there.

I want to come! But sometimes things come up so I may not be able to go.

//Would love too! But I'm working a lot of nights and having school in the mornings, so it'll be a toss up on whether I'll be able to make it or not.

//Noone sent me a PM with prefered times...So.... Some options:

Friday Night 9PM (Might get other timezone morning folks)

Saturday Afternoon to Evening  As early as 4 as late as 9?

Sunday morning  11AM (Might get other time zone night folks)

Sunday afternoon 3:30PM

All times are EST.

Count on the run lasting at least three hours.  I know a few have Ten Tokens on Sunday night at 7PM. If we did Sunday afternoon I am sure we could hornswaggle a DM into teleporting you from the end to your quest.  Once we get to the outpost, getting home is a sleepwalk.

I'll try to make it Aerimor, but you know how I like my beauty sleep..and I do have responsibilities to tend to on the docks...and a tavern or two.

//friday night or sunday morning would be best for me

Friday night would work for me.  Sunday afternoon might, but shaving it awfully close.  Usually, there's a quest at 12:30 that might not be done by 3:30.

If you are in need of aid, I would be most interested in accompanying you.  I have never been to these Great Spikes you speak of.

// well, this weekend, amazingly, is good for me.  I should be able to make any time that you set, though Friday night I ---may--- be a little late, but as of now, I am good to go.
