A note left on the counter: "Hello, I stopped in to shop yesterday, but there was no clerk on duty at the time.  I was interested in some of the things in the 'magic usable by all' chest... but there is no scroll with prices in it?  That made it impossible to make purchases.  I know my credit, but have no idea of the items prices there.

"One of the things I wished to buy is a pipe, so I need the prices on the various types so I may choose one.  A gnomish lens as well.   Possibly more, but I need to know their cost to decide.  Thanks!  -Jenna Gale"

A scribble added a bit later: "Please charge a yew smoking pipe to my account, thanks!  -JG

A cowled figure walks in out of the rain and speaks to whomever is on duty within the Guild at the time.

"I have deposited forty-four chunks of platinum ore in your chests.. as I heard you were looking to barter for them. I wish to know what my updated credit is with your Guild. My name is Sar'thaal."

Hi!  No one was home and I wasn't sure ... but do you take these in trade?  A Sling that is real good against animals and brownie Armor.  I left them in a crate for your inspection!   I also put in a Heavy Maha Crossbow and some ammunition for it ... it was just getting too heavy I need something lighter.  So if you can use them, great!  If not, no worries, I can always pawn them I suppose.  But I need to know how much I owe you! Owe you?  Oh yeah!  I took a Sunlight Sling and 500 Bronze Bullets.  So let me know what I owe and what I'm picking back up.  You can send word to Melody Widgeweaver at the Silver Buckle!  That's me!  I got lots of coin, I make great tips working at the Inn!
