As I stated in the link above (Donate your day thread) here are the results of this drive by the players.
I would like to thank everybody involved in the donations, it his a huge help in the monthly $460+ costs--on average the costs areabout $460 a month.
The amount donated yesterday by 18 people in the community was $615.
The amount donated within the past week (I am assuming it was donations stemming from this drive as I don't normally get donations in this way--but I'm not complaining--hehe) was $280 by 4 people.
So... In the past week we had a total of 22 people donate, for a total of $895, about two months of costs for the server. About 8x more than we normally receive in donations within a months time.

It is really nice to see that so many care about the community and wish to donate their money to keep the server alive. Also I would like to thank everyone on the teams to make the server so enjoyable with all the time they put into working behind the scenes.

I'm just happy we were able to get anyone to Donate. I made sure to remind everyone, and I'm happy to see my $20 is part of a nice some for Big L

Good job, and I encourage people to donate as often as they can... It is worth it, for whatever you can afford.

I think a Donate your Level day Each month or every 3 months regularly might help keep the idea in peoples heads. I dont know if an incentive is reasonable, but I'd offer a 1000Xp/$10 incentive... but I'd donate either way. I dont want this server going down

One thousand experience per ten USD... Sounds like a good idea, but I don't think it would be appropriate for this atmosphere.

I agree here. You shouldn't be able to gain IG advantges by donating, donating should only be done because you like the server.

Don't forget the Terms of Use EULA thing that says Leanthar can't exchange RL money for IG rewards. Bioware would get all kinds of cranky.

If you carefully read the EULA and/or ask WotC, you will notice that it's not even allowed to do that.

A donation "drive" like this one seems reasonable to do as a quarterly (every three months) event.

I never read those EULA... so I wouldn't know what is and isn't allowed... But I'd donate every three months or so my PC levels most definately
