I’d like to raise a point…  
  You are likely to see a lot of DM’s characters in the main battle tonight.  I’m sure it is going to be very easy for some of us to think it is simply because they are DM’s.
    I’d like everyone to stop and think about a few things:
    Yes, a lot of DM’s characters are Epic ….This is because most (not all) of the DM’s have been playing on the server for at least 2 years.  This means that their Epic characters have been running for a long time.
    They started a character just like you or I…At some point cared/got interested enough to apply to be a DM and as is their right kept playing their characters.  
    They have faced the same process to become Epic (now World Leader) as you or I have/will and have as much right to be involved as any other player on the server so leave ‘em alone!
    As a final point…..Leanther (and team) has put a lot of thought and effort into the Finale and I for one do not wish to see any criticism of how it’s handled.  Not everyone can go, some of us are going to be disappointed….I could be one of those people.  Can we, regardless of if we make the Finale or not, focus on the effort put in to make this happen rather than moan?

  I have to say that I think it is sad that I woke up today and the first thing I thought of was the backlash of unhappy players (for whatever reason they may be unhappy) instead of the fun that the quest will bring to those that can attend. Not a good thing if you ask my opinion.

My only request is for someone on each quest to be official screenshot person, and storyboard the quests for realise in about a fortnights time

 if I and get to join the quest: in defence. I'm sure to take screenshots when I can and post it all in a seperate album.
 But it would be nice to have an other person take screen shots as wel.

As a note. The GM's will not be able to take the pictures. We will be quite swamped in each of our quests. So the players need to do it.

I know I'm one of the one's that will probably not make the finale. I wrote in Kyle's thread that his place is with his wife...to defend Mistone and her if the time comes. (Please let me know what happens in the battle so I may write up something good. ) I am content with that since the GM's players who have participated in most of the main plot quests should be there to see it through. I...because of RL...I only made one or two of the main plot quests anyway.

Good luck in it and bounce Blood all the way to the hells he came from. And will see you when it is over...

  Chill mate. Take a nap, and relax. Your starting to sound like my dad going to work. Expect me to be having a blast no matter what the outcome, and people need to start thinking of this game as A GAME. Its not the end of the world, well it is, but not really. I love you L. In a friendly manner.

 Don't sweat it L.  Your work is appreciated and I think from this post as well as some others regarding the limitations that we face with NWN1 are good info for the community and that people will understand.    And look at it this way, with the finale over you can take a much deserved break.

and a note for the EPIC's who attend.... You were once like those who are looking up to you now!  So be sure and remember that!

Just because someone can't attack 4 times a round, cast 9 death wards, etc... doesn't mean you should look over them.


Lead by example EPIC players!
