question about hidden entrance

I know a place with a hidden entrace, why can't I see it when I'm there alone ? have I miss some thing ?

Some hidden entrances require skill checks to find them and for them to appear. You may not have seen it this time around because you or whoever you were with didn't make a sufficient roll.
