New Language Syntax - Dropping Last Character
« on: March 07, 2006, 03:07:59 AM »
The "/o L Blah" syntax drops the last letter in the translated string that appears in the talk channel.  Not really a big deal since its translated, but is kinda funny if you're saying a word for someone that doesn't have the ear and is going to just type it or when the last letter is important punctuation like ! or ?

Ahh...yeah this could be an issue with the old system as well if someone left off the ending bracket (]).
The short-term work-around would be to add an extra character to the end of the line. I think even an extra space will work fine. If not, use punctuation.
  Thanks for the report Talan.
