Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God

OK, we probably all agree that the 2000 movie, "Dungeons & Dragons" starring Jeremy Irons stunk big-time.  I was channel surfing last night and hit the Sci-Fi channel.  Lo and behold they were playing the sequel (see the title of this post).  I caught it about half way in but I have to say it was pretty good.  The CGI special effects were not up to par by today's standards, but I have a feeling this was a very low budget film.  Anyway, I will probably purchase the DVD (if it is available).  Has anyone else seen it, and if so, what did you think?

I have it Tivo'd.  I am going to watch it this weekend.  I never saw the original one but knew it was bad.  But I love B movies.  So for me, SciFi is the best thing since sliced bread.

You people have sliced bread nowadays? Good heavens, what more will they think of.

I must admit I was stoked when I saw that this was going to air on the Sci-Fi channel, then bummed when I realized I was going to miss a good chunk of it.  However, I was pleased with what I saw.  The wife did hafe to leave after a few minutes of it though due to her "super-dork" alarm going off  :o

It was 4AM when Andy (SinDolin) called me up and said he had the movie. Of course, it being more important than sleep, I headed over there, munchies in hand.

I gotta agree with the cgi not being upto par, but the movie itself was cool....a LOT better than the first one. It was fun picking out all the spells they used. And the cleric even turned undead :)

While not a must own, I would call it a must see for any D&D fans...which...I think we all are. :)

Wasn't bad for what I was expecting.  Never saw the first one but with the above reviews I probably won't.  Wouldn't go out and buy it however.  The Lich brought back some painful NWN moments.

It was amazing.  Referenced actual Greyhawk material, used D&D spells and abilities, and best of all... NO MARLON WAYAN!  I've heard of Hide in Plain Sight, but Shoplift in Plain View?!
