Important Note:[/COLOR][/U] I am not accepting any new CDQs at the moment. When my backlog of CDQs is gone, I will likely reopen this thread and begin accepting a limited number of CDQ requests per month again. I will no longer be accepting requests on a "Wait List", however.
If you have an existing CDQ in progress or planning with me and you need to contact me about it, or alternatively if you know you would like to withdraw your request or ask another DM so it might be run faster, please contact me directly by PM.

With all the needed materials in for the renovation, all that is left is for the workers and craftspeople to finish their work. Little by little, the inn is restored to its former glory. Every day, new furnishings, curtains, cushions and supplies are brought in, and workers begin to talk about it being ready to reopen soon--though of course the final decision on whether to reopen once it is ready is up to the owners.

Thank you for your WLDQ application! We will be sure to read through your application carefully and discuss it before getting back to you with a decision. We usually aim to do so within around a week to a week and a half, but sometimes these things take longer if GMs are particularly busy. We will try to get back to you with a decision or at least let you know things are taking a bit longer as soon as we can.

Hi Ellis,
I've gone ahead and put you on the list, but please be advised that there are a few people ahead of you so you should expect a wait of at least a few weeks. I am trying hard to clear my backlog now that my WLDQ is over and I have more of my regular GMing time back.
If you feel that you don't want to wait that long and you would rather seek out a different GM, I wlll not be offended--promise! Yes, I've run a few Ilsare quests and CDQs and am quite familiar with her lore, but this certainly doesn't make me the only one qualified to run the CDQ, so if there is another GM who fits better with your schedule and can get it done earlier, please feel free to swap. All I ask is that you let me know if you do, so I can keep my thread updated. *smiles*

Hi Teo,
The brownie is based on the halfling, which is already +2 Dex, -2 Str. The second line is warning you that the brownie skin applies an additional +2 Dex, -2 Str, -2 Con on top of the halfling base attributes.
So the net ability stats for the brownie will be +4 Dex, -4 Str, -2 Con. Hope this is clearer.

Hi Guardian, We have not yet laid out a format for the requests, no. I would suggest a post in the Requests/Disputes/Reimbursement forum. Please include: - Your character name - Your Bioware name - The date you returned actively as a WL - Any pertinent information regarding the request, such as your reason for being absent if applicable - Any IC explanation for your character's absence that should be considered. (i.e. Where have they been all these years? Just doing their thing, or were they missing for some reason, etc.?) I think that should do it for now. Just follow the Grievance format as best you can and include the information you think we'll need to consider your request.

Hi Guardian, We actually updated the WLDQ sticky after your inquiry was brought forward. You can find the answer here: Regaining World Leader Status After Inactivity:
- If your World Leader status is revoked because you have been away from the world for an extended period of time, you can regain your World Leader status when you return by being an active role model in the community and acting like a World Leader.
- To regain World Leader status, a player must formally submit a request to the GM Team to regain their status. This does not happen automatically, and it is the player's responsibility to take this initiative.
- To be eligible to regain their status, the WL player must have been back in the community, active, and acting like a World Leader type role model for 3 months. "Active" in this case is defined as 30 hours or more of involvement in the world with the World Leader character over those 3 months, be that in roleplay, exploring, questing, or other forms of active play.
- This method of regaining World Leader status does not apply if the status was lost through abuse of powers, breach of the trust placed in World Leader players, or any other reason than extended inactivity and/or absence.

Hi Havoc,
There is no level requirement if the CDQ is to move to a restricted class or PrC. The level 10 requirement (or alternatively, the 3 months' activity requirement) is for CDQs for all other personal goals, like joining an organization, etc.
Unless you were thinking of a different reason, I see no reason you shouldn't be able to submit in the Character Submissions forum at any time (for the secondary class), then take a CDQ with a GM of your choosing. You should choose the GM yourself, though--I recommend reading through their threads and choosing one in a good timezone who sounds like they have a style that would work for you, or thinking back to different quests you may have been on and choosing a favorite quest GM.

This would be the jurisdiction of the character approvers. Even if you used a GP, requests that involve such major changes to a character still need to be approved by the CAs.

Hey guys, Just a little update for clarity. We are actually reworking the Wolfswood Ranger Corps lore right now, which is the main delay in all of this. Unfortunately, one of our initial authors on the Corps left before signing a writer's agreement allowing him to use his original work, and rather than appropriate anyone's intellectual property unintentionally, we have chosen to rework the Wolfswood Ranger Corp. I am mid-way through the rewrite, but unfortunately a few more urgent projects have kept me from finishing it. We promise to release it as soon as it's done and lore approved, though.  With regards to a CDQ, you can indeed take a CDQ before the whole writeup is released. Keppli's CDQ to join the Wolfswood Rangers occurred before we had an updated writeup too. A little inter-DM communication usually provides enough detail to develop a CDQ that will work, and the rest of the blanks will be filled in very soon. Regards, ~Carillon
