Just heard on the radio this morning, australia beat japan 3-1, I guess I can support them... they're kind of close to us... as long as we beat them in the rugby :D

Hey! *starts singing "I'm Proud to Be an American"* We don't suck, as a matter of fact we have some of the best athletes in the world, we simply suck in international team sports. We're fine in single events though.

Well, I don't think there are many countries who will be able to beat the Czech Republic, if they keep playing like this. The injury of Koller might set them back a bit though.

Brazil vs Australia,

I expect this will be a high scoring game next week.  With Brazil with most of the score.  Australia will try to keep the ball in Brazils half while attacking the goal.  While Brazil will have a lighting counter attack.  Expect to see about 3 Brazilian goals from the counter attack and individual sprints of brilliance.  Australia is also likely to score a goal from their set plays and offensive pressure, as the Brazillians are more about offense then defence.

Tip for Australia to do well.  Need a perfect passing and coordinate offense, with no mistakes.

Realist tip:

Brazil 4 - 1

Ideal:

Brazil 0 - 1  (this ain't gonna happen)

Luis Felipe Scolari, won the world cup with Brazil at 2002 (im Brazilian =D), now, we are out  (thank you parrera, now you are the #1 enemy of the Brazilian people), well if 2002, we won with "FelipĆ£o" why cant Portugal win?! GOGOGO Portugal! =D
Until 2010, maybe Brazil champion 6 times =D

Actually I'd like to see Germany in the finals, but I have a feeling that Italy might have a thing to say about that. They are very good and they do play more offensive this world cup.

But everything else than France as world champion. It must not happen!

bah! all the interesting teams are out like Switzerland, Korea, Australia and all the other teams from small or unexperienced countries. And Denmark didnt even make it to the world cup! Anyway I did like to see Portugal win, though I doubt they will.
